Sliding Door, Frame, Track set installation procedures (Knock down
frames)
Step
1
Header
and Extended Piece Installation(KD)
Put header and extender up as template for anchor
installation
Remove
header and extender
Drill
1/2" quick bolts, or thread rod with epoxy,
anchoring system
(installer preference, not provided by Weizel)
Cut
quick bolts/thread rod flush to block

header/extended peice must be installed flush to
block work; block
protruding off flush line must be ground down by
installer.
Step

Jamb
Installation
Fit
jambs to block(installer may have to adjust length
of jamb due to floor tolerances)
Drill
3/8" quick bolts(not provided by Weizel)
All
quick bolts should be torqued in place
Then
cut flush with frame
Puddle
weld bolts to frame
Step

Weld
Header/Extended Piece to wall
Puddle weld header/extended piece to wall
Weld
top jamb completely to header
Step
4
Install
Trackset
Install track set level; trackset must sit flush
against framework for welding
Bottom of Trackset
Point to be measured as follows:
ex: if Clear
Opening = 2110
set bottom of
trackset at 30mm above 2110
However, if floor
is not level you must set at 2140 (2110 + 30)
at highest point off finished floor
Step
5
Install
Rollers to Door Hanger and Hang Door
Temporarily install track set cover and adjust door
to proper height. Installer should ensure that door
hanger and cover do not interfer with each other
Step

Install
Floor Mounted Guide
Check
distance(with door in closed position) between door
and frame lock jamb at top of door
This
distance must be maintained through height of door
at lock jamb side.
Install
floor guide as required using 4 - 3/8" quick
bolts(not provided by Weizel)
Step
7
Weld
on Receiver Column
Line
up lock bolt in open position with receiver column
keeper pocket.
Receiver
column may have to be adjusted off face of frame
due to walls out of plum
